Uniform Requirements

Beginners

New Students are required to purchase a uniform within the first 2 weeks of training. Uniform Order Forms are included in the new student packet & must be ordered through Jackson Park TSD. Beginner students (White (10th Gup), Yellow (9th Gup), Orange (8th Gup), & Purple (7th Gup) are only allowed to wear white uniform tops & bottoms. Students will receive their Flag patch after testing for Yellow Belt. These must be sewn on.

Students who wish to wear an undershirt should only wear a shirt that is WHITE or the color of the student’s belt, in color. We ask that all female students wear some sort of undergarment (shirt, sports bra, tank, etc.) under their uniform for modesty. The rule is: if you can see it, it must be white in color. Uniforms should be kept neat, clean, and free of stains. If your pants or sleeves are too long, we ask that you get them hemmed as soon as possible. Uniforms are ONLY to be worn during class times. They are not for “dress up” or a “costume”.

Intermediate

Intermediate students (Green (6th Gup), Blue (5th Gup), Brown (4th Gup), & Red (3rd Gup) Belts may wear a solid white do bok, solid blue do bok, or a white top with blue do bok pants. Only uniforms ordered through JPTSD are allowed. Undershirts should be white, blue, or match your belt color. Blue uniforms are 7.5 oz. Uniform order forms are available in the student section, under your rank. (No Blue top, white pants combo allowed.)

Advanced

Advanced students (2nd Gup through Cho Dan Bo 2) may wear a solid white do bok, solid red do bok, or a combination of a white top and red pants. Undershirts should be white, red, or match belt color. Red uniforms are 7.5oz weight. Uniform order forms are available in the student section, under your rank. (No Red top, white pants combo allowed.)

Black Belt

Black Belts may wear a white trimmed top with white or black pants OR a solid black uniform. Black Belts may wear white or black undershirts. These students will be required to wear our Association Patch and the back of their uniforms will be screen printed with our logo. Heavy weight tops & pants for advanced ranks are available upon request. Uniform order forms are available in the student section, under your rank. Black Belts & Masters will receive small star patches after each re-cert to notify how many re-certifications they have at each rank. These will go under the flag patch on the right sleeve.
